As January approaches, many of us look back on the past year and note areas in our lives where change can be made. For many, January 1st signifies a clean slate and a new opportunity to change the future.
Among the top ten New Year’s Resolutions list, weight loss and fitness goals tend to take the top spot. However, finances and money follow closely behind. Millions of Americans are faced with holiday spending and credit card bills that force them to reevaluate their own spending habits. Financial goals and resolutions are made. Perhaps the goal is to cut costs by only purchasing necessary items or perhaps the goal is to place more money into a savings account.

It’s that time of the year again. The Christmas trees are up, the malls are busy, and every television commercial features the newest kid’s toy, electronic device, or gadget. For most of us, we have to buy gifts for mom and dad, siblings, grandparents, spouses, or children. This means hours and, more realistically, days, in the mall and department stores. You may spend hours trying to find your mom the perfect pair of diamond earrings. Or, you may spend hours waiting in line to purchase a toy that is at the top of your child’s list.

If you are a boss or manager, chances are you also have to add a number of employees to your shopping list. If you thought spending hours searching for earrings was difficult, try deciding on a perfect gift that an employee will like and use. Multiply that by the 50 employees you manage and you could spend the whole month of December shopping. continue
Thinking about Christmas gifts for your employees yet? It’s never too early for efficient planning. If you’re a manager who cares about your workers, you want to show your appreciation for workers with a gift that they will be able to use and enjoy. Magnets and calendars with the company name printed on don’t quite cut the cake. You should consider custom USB drives with the company name printed on.
You could purchase USB drives in Christmas-y colors like red, green, and white, or even design a special logo for the season with Christmas decorations. CFgear can print custom logos onto drives in up to four colors using a process that guarantees exact matching of colors. continue
